HAKKI TANSUĞ

During his lifetime which started with the foundation of the Turkish Republic in 1923, being one of the first engineers of the Republican Period, the Founder of Tansuğ Machinery, Mr. Hakkı Tansuğ realized infinite accomplishments.

He worked for some of the largest public industrial enterprises of his period such as Sumerbank, Karabük Demir Çelik A.Ş., Türkiye Tersaneleri A.Ş. after he graduated as a mechanical engineer from Yıldız Technical University in Istanbul. In 1948He got married with Mrs. Jale Tansuğ, his life-long companion. In 1955, while he was working in the Seyhan Dam Project with Morrison-Garanti he was invited to BOSSA factory, the first factory of today’s SABANCI Conglomorate, by Hacı Ömer Sabancı. For 12 years he oversaw important jobs at BOSSA. Starting from 1955, in parallel to his job at BOSSA he manufactured textile machinery spare parts in his small workshop in Karsıyaka. This machinery accessories have been used by many of the early textile factories nation-wide. Moreover Mr. Tansuğ has built on a turn-key basis several gin (cotton processing) factories in the Cukurova region. Leaving two sons and five grandsons to take his business to the next century, nowadays Mr. Tansug has been enjoying his 80th ages. He is still the director of the local office of the National Association for Preventing Traffic Accidents and he frequently gives dinner get-togethers to enjoy his delicious food with his entire family.

NUMAN TANSUĞ

Tansuğ Machinery’s general director Numan Tansuğ has the leading-role in Tansug’s numerous achievements over the last three decades. He moved the company which he took over during the mid-70s to its current modern facilities in İncirlik and made it a brand-name identified with top quality. Additionally, Numan has been a dynamic NGO activist, having taken important positions from presidentship to founding memerships in some of Turkey’s major non-governmental organizations and trade and business unions. Mechanical engineer Numan Tansuğ speaks English and enjoys spending his time with his friends in his spare time.

ERTAN TANSUĞ

Ertan Tansug started his business life helping his father Hakkı Tansug in the textile business when he was only 15. After receiving his degree on mechanical engineering, starting from the end of 70s, Ertan realised numerous projects for the American Air Forces.

For the last 8 years he concentrated on computer and network systems and due to his many accomplishments , Tansug has been awarded as an official contractor of General Dynamics Networks in Turkey. Partner and member of board at Tansug, Ertan is fluent in English and he enjoys constantly working on new investment projects. He likes diving, playing tennis, playing flute and is a motor-sports enthusiast.

UTKU TANSUĞ

The reflections of the globalised world have found their trace on Tansug Machinery thanks to the participation of the third generation to the company. After his completion of his Economics degree at Istanbul Unıversity, Utku received a master degree in International Business studying at some of the renowned institutions around the world such as Copenhagen Business School (Denmark) and York University MBA (Canada).

Utku is fluent in English and speaks Spanish and Danish. He likes outdoor sports and whenever he finds the time he likes packing his backpack or hopping on to his motorbike and travelling around the country to take some pictures. Due to his affection to nature and cultures he initially focused on the international marketing of AURASET solar systems at Tansug.

Utku’s participation to the company opened up new horizons for the company, after which Tansug’s marketing strategies were redesigned to focus on international sales. Utku also oversees administrative directorship at Tansug.

ÇAĞRI TANSUĞ

As just another entrepreneur in a pretty entreprenurial family, after receiving his civil engineering degree at Yıldız Technical University in Istanbul, Cagrı founded the first outdoor sports retailer and extreme sports Organizations companies in the country under the names Adrenalin & Adre- X respectively and he realised the first bungy-jumping organizations in the country. As a member of the board, he is one the major architects of the marketing stratgies of the company. Additionally he acts as a consultant and project engineer for Tansug’s major construction projects. Besides being an active mountaineer and rock climber, Cagrı has realised over 100 bungy jumps and is the owner of a dia albume consisting of thousands of frames.

IBRAHIM SÜDAŞ

It was back in the end of 70s when solar energy was a subject brand-new in the world when mechanical engineer Mr. Sudas initialised the manufacturing of solar thermal systems in Turkey.

With a quarter century experience in the solar energy business and having accomplished some of the first multiple and industrial applications of solar systems in the country, Sudas founded the solar department at Tansug Engineering to take his past successes to an international arena. Sudas plays guitar in the Adana nights with his band, Q-Jazz Band, is veteran tennis champ of Adana and enjoys living a healthy life.
